How recently did you give birth in the country that you are reporting on?

Describe your experience giving birth there. What type of facility did you go to? What (if any) type of pain management did you use? How long did you stay in the hospital? Was it a positive experience? Etc...

I notice that most of the reports here are mostly negative, so I would like to share my good story. There is severe overcrowding in Dublin maternity units, which contributes to the problems many people have mentioned here. Our Lady of Lourdes in Drogheda (just north of Dublin) has a midwife led unit and is more progressive than Dublin hospitals.
